How To Exponentially Scale A Business To Do Huge Numbers

There’s nothing like an altar anywhere, whether to secure you against evil people or to propel your business further.

Once you know what works, continue on that path consistently, it would be a matter of time before you’d be swimming in wealth irrespective of your religion, or religious affiliation.

I will explain using about two businesses.

I believe, in Business you first need imitation, then you need iteration, and finally innovation.

Once you start a business, the first things you need is to watch closely what others in that line of business are doing, then make adjustments to become better than them, then finally craft out what they’re not doing or what could exponentially benefit yours than theirs— It’s when you fail to do the last one, that it looks like you are stuck.

1. Cake Business: You can set up a “Bake and Sip” session, where couples come over to your office, bake mini cakes, and sip drinks alongside, you cover the videography aspect of it, you ask them questions about how they got to meet and at the end they rate their cake. Each session can cost N200k or even 500k, it’s a good way to enable couples to bond and they can also share the video on their family YouTube and social handles.

Your target could also be newly wedded or any couple.

Instead of waiting for birthdays to sell cakes, a simple Bake and Sip session can give you more money than you make from traditional selling of cakes. Understand that, people pay more for convenience, memory, experience, and luxury than even products. This is why restaurants try to give the best ambiance and aesthetics while slightly increasing their prices.

2. Food / Restaurant Business: Instead of waiting for people to walk into your restaurant, you can approach banks, business hubs, and events.

For companies, you can strike a deal to serve all their staff members a meal per day for 25 working days a month for say 100,000 naira, if you calculate for say 10 staff members that’s like 1 million naira— this money can either be paid upfront or at the end.

You have a roaster, and WhatsApp group, they can choose what they want once per week for the 5 working days of that week and you prepare and plan, to get their food delivered adding a delivery fee alongside.

Another perk is to increase the money a bit and say it includes free and fast delivery— this time they are happy because they know their delivery will be faster since it’s coming from the same person cooking and it’s pre-planned.

3. Photography Business: You can add Makeup, Wig, Clothes, and Bags hire to a photoshoot session. Instead of the person booking just your time, you ask them what kind of shooting they looking at, you tell them you can provide all the customer required, and you add it to your bill for the session.

4. Laundry Business: in 2018 when I ran a laundry business in Benin, I had plans, monthly wash, 80 pieces of clothes, 60 pieces, etc.

For those who opted for monthly, I figured that, it’s hard for them to just bring up to 80 pieces of clothes at the end of the month.

And since once you sign up, you pay me full money upfront, it gave me enough capital to run the business easily and I could project my profits easily.

The above are just some examples of how to scale businesses.

You don’t need any spiritual alter anywhere, what you need is to think outside the box, imitate (copy & learn), iterate (make small adjustments from what you have learned), and innovate (craft something never done before or do it better) and finally promote (to get it to more eyeballs).
