My husband is not a pastor but a riitualiist – Episode 36

“We talked for the next 30 minutes, and it felt like we shouldn’t stop. However, they were leaving the restaurant, so we concluded our discussion.”

“Armed with the little information I gained from our discussion that day, I eagerly anticipated my trip to Lagos. I was determined to do whatever it took to become famous and powerful like these men of God.”

“The next day, which was Friday, I departed for Lagos, bidding farewell to Abuja. My intention was never to return to Abuja except for business matters. I longed to distance myself from my pastor and Mr. Frank, granting me the freedom to pursue my desires without constraints.”

“The fact that I would be living alone in Lagos, where nobody knew me, was a significant advantage. It allowed me to concentrate on my goals and succeed without raising suspicion.”

“One month after moving to Lagos and attending various churches, I became a member of one of the largest churches in the city, the same one where I currently serve as the resident pastor today. I was already skilled at winning the favor of church leaders, so I became highly involved in church activities.”

“The very week I joined, I eagerly applied to be a church worker and was warmly accepted. I became a member of the prayer warrior team and never missed a single meeting or vigil in my quest to gain the favor of those in higher positions.”

“While actively participating in church activities, I subtly began to gather information from a few new friends at church and in my office. I was curious about the secrets behind pastors who performed miracles with the help of fratern!ties, cūlt groups, or dãrk powers.”

“I initiated discussions with my office friends and a few fellow prayer warriors at church, pretending to cõñdémn such men of God. The more we talked about them, the more secrets I uncovered through our conversations.”

“On one fateful day at the office, I initiated our usual discussion, and one of my colleagues mentioned a relatively unknown but rapidly growing church in Lagos. It was rumored to be associated with performing strange miracles, and the founder was accúsed of working hand-in-hand with the dev!l.”

“When I returned home, I conducted further research on the church. Since it wasn’t as prominent as the one I’d heard about in that Abuja restaurant, I believed I could easily get the attention of the church’s founder.”

“I decided to attend one of their weekly meetings at their headquarters with the hope of meeting the senior pastor. After the service, I joined the line of people waiting to speak with him.”

“I had placed 50,000 naira in an envelope, knowing I needed to offer something in exchange for the information I sought. When it was my turn, I entered his office, greeted him, and handed over the envelope.”

“I explained, ‘I’m currently a member of the prayer warrior team in my church, but I aspire to be recognized beyond that. I desire the power to perform extraordinary miracles that would lead the church to consider me for a role as one of their resident pastors.'”

“‘I find it challenging to achieve this through my own prayers alone, which is why I’ve come to seek your assistance,’ I confessed.”

“He maintained silence, studying me for a moment, then asked, ‘Are you capable of affording it? Can you pay the price? I can assist you, and indeed, we need more individuals like you, but can you meet the cost?'”

“For a moment, I hesitated. That question seemed oddly familiar, and I hoped it didn’t mean what I suspected. Just as I was about to inquire about the price I needed to pay, he asked, ‘Do you have any children?’ ‘No, I’m not married yet,’ I replied, to which he responded, ‘That’s unfortunate.'”

“I inquired further, seeking clarification, and he responded, ‘Don’t bother yourself for now; you’ll understand when the time comes. This is a serious matter. Come to my office next Tuesday. I’ll have more time then, and we can discuss this thoroughly. Remember, don’t disclose the reason for your visit to anyone, or you may face consequences.'”

“On Sunday, we held a combined worship service at the headquarters in my church, and I arrived early, as I loved to be at the front-row seat.”

“As the choir performed, the soloist’s voice was angelic, and her singing stirred my emotions with each note. I found myself captivated by her performance, unaware that she would later become my wife; that was the first time I saw you.”

“I had only joined the church a month ago, so I didn’t know which branch you attended. However, I couldn’t stop thinking about you after that mesmerizing performance, lingering on my mind throughout the sermon that day.”

“After the service, I approached one of the choir members from my branch who had sung with you at the headquarters. I inquired about you, and she disclosed the branch you attended.”

“From that moment onward, I began to pursue you, hoping that a connection would develop between us. I felt it was time to start planning for marriage. Additionally, I had observed that all the pastors in the church were already married, so I thought that marrying you could potentially pave the way for me to become a pastor.”

“That week Tuesday, after work, I visited the man of God in his office to gain more insight into how I could become a powerful miracle worker. I asked him to provide me with details about the requirements and the price I needed to pay.”

“He replied, ‘I’m a member of a very large society. We have branches across all 36 states and beyond. Our members primarily consist of church founders and a few individuals like yourself who are seeking power.'”

“When I initially joined them, I had to travel to three different countries to perform extensive r!tuals to activate my powers. However, thanks to technology, new members no longer need to travel abroad. They can be initiated in any of our branches worldwide.”

“I asked about whether you had children because the price for accessing these dãrk powers varies. It depends on the level of power you seek. Some may require one of your ch!ldren to súffér insan!ty or dēãth. Others might demand you to sacr!fice something deeply precious, while some may ask you to tamper with your own lifespan.”

“These powers need renewal, either monthly or yearly, depending on the level of influence you desire. Since you’re not yet married, you would have to offer yourself as collateral.”

“You have two weeks to respond to me so that I can take you to our camp for initiation. If you don’t reply within that time frame, there’s no need to come back. We take our deadlines seriously.”
